SITELINE
An end to end MVP for a better construction pay app experience.
I was brought onto the small, but mighty team at Siteline as the sole designer. Tasked with developing a robust MVP in just three months we had our work cut out.
The goal
Create an improved billing experience for construction contractors to get paid on time. Better billing, better builds. (Who doesn’t love some solid alliteration?)
Responsible for
Scaleable design system to be applied across the MVP
Establishing design processes and cross collab communication structures
Minor context illustrations
The full MVP product design, supporting:
Project home page flow, adding / deleting, navigating projects
Settings, notifications, profile
Compliance
Creation of new pay app
Viewing and editing invoice
Adding and removing backup documentation
Submitting low tier lien waivers
Signing flow
Submitting a pay app for approval
Review of submitted pay app
The design system
We needed a flexible UI style guide to inform an agile MVP process. This Figma built design system made use of a blue focused palette, minimal buttons, and a versatile typography set. This is a sample of the initial guide we implemented across the MVP.
The product
Partnering closely with our lead engineer and customer relations expert we iterated daily on successful flows to ensure efficient pay outs on each project. The following is a sample of several flows.

The outcome
The Siteline MVP launched successfully, picking up several clients from our user research pool. Customers loved the ease and efficiency of the new pay app flow. Siteline continues to innovate on its brand and product, having a solid MVP foundation helped pave the way.
